Please read these Terms carefully. They govern your access to and use of Tiim, including the Tiim mobile application, the tiim.me website, app.tiim.me, and related communication, email, meeting, calendar, contact and AI-assisted features.
1. General Provisions
1.1. These Public Offer and Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the relationship between InterHub FZCO (the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “Tiim”) and any individual who accesses or uses Tiim (the “User” or “you”).
1.2. Tiim is a communication platform designed to bring chats, calls, meetings, email, calendar functions, contacts and related communication tools together in one place.
1.3. Tiim may also provide optional or restricted features, including AI-assisted tools and Office functionality. Availability may depend on account settings, permissions, technical readiness, region, device, or administrator-granted access.
1.4. Tiim is currently operated as a non-commercial project. Access to the core Tiim service is provided without a subscription fee. If paid or commercial services are introduced in the future, they will be subject to separate disclosure and, where required, separate terms or user consent.
1.5. By accepting these Terms and using Tiim, you enter into a binding agreement with InterHub FZCO.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
2.1. You accept these Terms when you take an action that clearly indicates acceptance, including creating a Tiim Account, signing in and continuing to use Tiim after a link to these Terms is displayed, or selecting “Continue”, “Create account”, “Sign in”, “Accept”, or a similar action where a link to these Terms is displayed.
2.2. By accepting these Terms, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and the Tiim Privacy Policy.
2.3. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not create an account or use Tiim.
3. Eligibility and Tiim Account
3.1. You may use Tiim only if you are legally capable of entering into these Terms under the law applicable to you. If you use Tiim on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
3.2. Tiim uses a single-account model. Each Tiim Account has a permanent internal user identifier and may also have an editable public Tiim ID.
3.3. A Tiim ID is a public user handle used for identification and discovery. It may be changed subject to availability and Tiim rules. Changing a Tiim ID does not change the permanent internal identity of the account.
3.4. A Tiim Account may also be linked to supported identifiers and authentication methods, including phone number, email address, password, device credentials, or supported third-party sign-in methods.
3.5. You must provide accurate information and maintain control over the identifiers and authentication methods used to access your Tiim Account.
3.6. If Tiim detects a conflict involving a phone number, email address or another verified identity, Tiim may pause the relevant action and provide an account recovery, linking or review process rather than automatically merging accounts.
3.7. You are responsible for protecting your password, device, email accounts, authentication codes and other methods associated with your Tiim Account.
4. Contacts, Tiim ID and User Discovery
4.1. Users may be discoverable through Tiim ID, QR code, phone number, email address or other supported discovery methods, depending on enabled settings and product functionality.
4.2. The “@” character may be used as a search operator for a Tiim ID but is not part of the Tiim ID itself.
4.3. Tiim may allow you to add another Tiim user as a contact or link a Tiim user to an existing local contact. Tiim contact relationships are associated with the permanent internal user identity, so a later change of Tiim ID does not by itself break the contact relationship.
4.4. You may grant Tiim access to your device contacts to help identify people in your address book who already use Tiim. Contact access is requested separately and remains subject to operating-system permissions.
4.5. Tiim may also suggest users with whom you have previously communicated. Such suggestions do not necessarily mean that a person is stored in your device address book.
4.6. Where the relevant setting is available, you may disable certain discovery methods, such as discovery by phone number.
4.7. Tiim does not guarantee that every contact can be identified or that contact information stored on your device is accurate or current.
5. Chats and Communications
5.1. Tiim may allow Users to exchange messages, files, images, audio, voice notes and other materials, create groups, search communications and use related communication features.
5.2. You are responsible for the content you send or share and for ensuring that your communications comply with applicable law and do not infringe third-party rights.
5.3. Tiim may restrict communication features where reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security risks, legal requirements, or violations of these Terms.
5.4. A service status may include states such as active, suspended or blocked. Restricting access does not automatically delete previously created data unless deletion is required by law or the applicable retention policy.
6. Calls, Meetings and Booking
6.1. Tiim may provide voice calls, video calls, scheduled meetings, meeting links, calendar functions, availability sharing and related communication features.
6.2. Call and meeting quality may depend on internet connectivity, device capabilities, microphone and camera permissions, operating-system behavior, telecom networks and third-party infrastructure.
6.3. Where recording, transcription or similar capture is available, Tiim may require user consent or an organizer-controlled consent flow. You remain responsible for obtaining any consent additionally required by applicable law.
6.4. Tiim may support public booking links through which a guest can select an available time and provide information required to arrange the meeting. A booking link is different from a meeting join link.
6.5. A video or audio meeting may have a separate public join link. Depending on the meeting access settings, a guest may be admitted directly or may be placed in a waiting room until the organizer or an authorized host approves or declines the request.
6.6. A person who receives a meeting or booking link is responsible for using it only for its intended purpose. Users who create or share such links are responsible for deciding with whom they share them.
6.7. For in-person meetings, Tiim may display or send location information instead of a video or audio join action.
6.8. Tiim may send meeting confirmations, updates, cancellation notices, reminders and join information through supported communication channels.
7. Tiim Mail
7.1. Tiim may provide email functionality and may allow Users to connect external mailboxes, including supported Google, Microsoft, iCloud, corporate, IMAP/SMTP or other supported accounts.
7.2. One Tiim Account may connect up to five active mailboxes where this functionality is enabled.
7.3. Tiim may provide a Unified Inbox that displays messages from more than one connected mailbox while identifying the mailbox to which each message belongs.
7.4. When replying to a message, Tiim may use the mailbox that received the message. When composing a new message, Tiim may allow the User to select the sending mailbox.
7.5. A recovery email and a connected mailbox are separate account concepts even if the same email address is used for both.
7.6. When connecting an external mailbox, you confirm that you are authorized to use that mailbox and to grant Tiim the permissions or credentials required to provide the requested service.
7.7. Tiim may require re-authentication or reconnection of a mailbox after logout, sign-in on a new device, account recovery, provider changes, or another security event.
7.8. You are responsible for the content of email you send and for complying with applicable rules concerning spam, fraud, unsolicited messaging and prohibited content.
8. Optional Office Functionality
8.1. Tiim may include Office, tasks, documents, departments, organizational tools and related work features for selected users or organizations.
8.2. Office is not part of the default Tiim experience for every User. Its visibility and availability may depend on administrator-granted access or other account entitlements.
8.3. Access to Office and its data depends on assigned permissions and authority. You must not attempt to access information outside your authorized scope.
8.4. Revoking Office access does not by itself close the Tiim Account or remove access to other Tiim communication features.
8.5. Materials uploaded to Office remain the responsibility of the User or organization that provides them.
9. Tiim AI and AI-Assisted Features
9.1. Tiim may provide artificial-intelligence-assisted features within chats, mail, meetings, calls and other parts of the service. Examples may include translation, drafting or rewriting text, summarization, transcription, extraction of decisions or action items, and analysis or understanding of files and other user-provided content.
9.2. Tiim AI is an assistive feature and is not intended to replace the User’s own judgment. AI-generated or AI-assisted output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for a particular purpose.
9.3. You should review AI-generated output before relying on it, sending it to another person, using it to make a decision, or incorporating it into a document, message or meeting record.
9.4. Tiim may process the content you choose to submit to AI-assisted features, including text, files, images, audio or meeting transcripts, solely as necessary to provide, secure and improve the requested functionality, subject to the Privacy Policy.
9.5. Tiim may use third-party infrastructure or model providers to deliver certain AI-assisted features where permitted by the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
9.6. Unless expressly stated otherwise, AI output is not professional legal, medical, financial, investment, tax or other regulated advice.
9.7. Where Tiim provides source or context indicators, such as “from transcript” or a translation-language label, those indicators are informational and do not guarantee that the output is error-free.
9.8. Tiim may limit, suspend or modify AI-assisted features for safety, security, technical, legal or operational reasons.
10. Acceptable Use
10.1. You must not use Tiim to:
- violate applicable law or third-party rights;
- send spam, commit fraud or phishing, distribute malware, or attempt unauthorized access;
- threaten or harass others, unlawfully disclose personal data, or infringe intellectual property rights;
- circumvent technical restrictions, abuse APIs, or perform unauthorized automated data collection;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority or identity;
- use AI-assisted features to facilitate unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity; or
- create traffic or activity that may damage, degrade, disrupt or interfere with Tiim or its users.
10.2. Tiim may take reasonable measures against abuse, including limiting features, suspending access, blocking an account, or taking other protective action.
11. User Content and Intellectual Property
11.1. You retain ownership of content that belongs to you.
11.2. To the extent necessary to operate Tiim, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide right to host, store, transmit, reproduce for technical purposes, convert, index, display and otherwise process your content solely as necessary to provide, secure and improve the service, subject to the Privacy Policy.
11.3. All rights in Tiim software, design, brand, logos, interfaces, source code, documentation and other Tiim materials belong to the Company or its licensors.
11.4. Except where expressly permitted by law or by the Company in writing, you may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, license, distribute or create derivative products based on Tiim.
12. Privacy and Data
12.1. The processing of personal data is governed by the Tiim Privacy Policy, which should be read together with these Terms.
12.2. Tiim processes account, identity, technical and communication data as necessary for authentication, delivery of messages and email, calls, meetings, notifications, account protection, synchronization and operation of enabled features.
12.3. Where you use AI-assisted features, Tiim may process the content and context necessary to generate the requested result. The applicable Privacy Policy describes the relevant processing in more detail.
12.4. You should review device permissions relating to contacts, microphone, camera, notifications, files and other functions before granting them.
13. Confidentiality
13.1. Tiim shall treat the content of Users’ private communications, including messages, emails, calls, meetings, files, documents and other non-public information transmitted or stored through Tiim (“Confidential Information”), as confidential and shall not access, use or disclose such Confidential Information except to the extent reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure or improve the services, with the User’s consent, or where required by applicable law or a competent authority.
13.2. Tiim shall implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect Confidential Information against unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration or loss. These confidentiality obligations shall survive termination or closure of the User’s Tiim Account, subject to applicable data-retention and deletion requirements.
14. Security
14.1. The Company applies reasonable organizational and technical security measures, but no information system can guarantee absolute security.
14.2. You must promptly notify Tiim if you suspect unauthorized access to your Tiim Account or a connected mailbox.
14.3. Tiim may require re-authentication, revoke sessions, request additional device verification, or restrict particular features where account compromise or another security risk is suspected.
14.4. Where Tiim provides guest meeting access, temporary links, one-time codes or waiting-room controls, you must not attempt to bypass those controls or use credentials issued to another person.
15. Non-Commercial Status
15.1. Tiim is currently made available as a non-commercial project and the Company does not charge Users a subscription fee for access to the core Tiim service.
15.2. The absence of a fee does not reduce your obligations under these Terms, including acceptable-use, security and intellectual-property obligations.
15.3. The Company may in the future introduce optional paid services or commercial features. Any such introduction will be disclosed separately before a User incurs a charge and may require acceptance of additional or updated terms.
15.4. Nothing in these Terms requires the Company to introduce paid services.
16. Availability, Updates and Third-Party Dependencies
16.1. Tiim aims to keep the service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
16.2. Availability may be affected by software updates, maintenance, internet or telecom providers, cloud infrastructure, app stores, email providers, AI service providers, operating systems and other third parties.
16.3. Tiim may update, replace, suspend or discontinue individual features where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
16.4. Tiim may integrate with third-party services. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
17. Suspension, Account Closure and Data Retention
17.1. You may stop using Tiim at any time and, where the relevant feature is available, request deletion of your account.
17.2. Tiim may temporarily restrict, suspend or terminate access in cases of material breach, fraud, abuse, security threats, legal requirements, or requests from competent authorities.
17.3. Data deletion and retention are subject to the Privacy Policy, applicable legal requirements, security needs, backup processes and any lawful retention obligations.
18. Disclaimers
18.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tiim is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
18.2. The Company does not warrant that Tiim will be uninterrupted, free from all defects, or compatible with every device, network, third-party service, AI model or future operating-system version.
18.3. AI-generated output and automated summaries, translations, transcriptions or extracted information are provided for convenience and may contain errors. You remain responsible for reviewing them before use.
18.4. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
19. Limitation of Liability
19.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or loss of data arising from use of or inability to use Tiim.
19.2. The limitations in these Terms do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
19.3. If you are a consumer and mandatory law in your country grants you additional rights, those rights remain unaffected.
20. Changes to these Terms
20.1. The Company may update these Terms to reflect changes to Tiim, applicable law, security requirements, technical functionality, AI features, or the operating model.
20.2. Material changes will be published in Tiim and/or on tiim.me. Where required by applicable law, Tiim will provide additional notice or request renewed consent.
20.3. Continued use of Tiim after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those Terms unless applicable law requires a different procedure.
21. Governing Law and Disputes
21.1. Unless mandatory law applicable to you requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates and the laws applicable in the Emirate of Dubai.
21.2. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, unless mandatory law provides for another forum or grants you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
21.3. Before commencing court proceedings, the parties should, where reasonably possible, attempt to resolve the dispute through Tiim support or a written complaint.
22. Company and Contact Information
22.1. Tiim is operated by InterHub FZCO. Legal address: Office 1406, Jumeirah Bay Tower X2, Cluster X, Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT), Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
22.2. Questions, security reports, complaints and other notices may be submitted through the support channels made available in the Tiim application, on tiim.me, or by email at support@tiim.me.
22.3. Tiim may ask you to verify your identity and your authority over the relevant account before processing account-specific requests.
23. Miscellaneous
23.1. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
23.2. A failure or delay by the Company in exercising a right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
23.3. The Company may assign or transfer these Terms as part of a merger, reorganization, sale of business, or transfer of the Tiim service, subject to applicable law. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without the Company’s prior written consent.
23.4. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable product-specific terms, constitute the agreement governing your use of Tiim.
23.5. If these Terms are made available in multiple languages and there is an inconsistency, the English version will prevail, except where mandatory law requires otherwise.
